casuallycreative asked: Maybe the bedroom isn't actually attached to the house. Somewhere along the staircase your character walks through a portal into another dimension. That's why no matter how big your house gets elsewhere your bedroom stays the same size and you cannot decorate it beyond a new bed. F--kin' miracles.
